Not bad considering we have crossed 5 countries before Italy, but it involved a brazillian restaurant attached to our decrepit Milan hotel... We wandered around Milan on Sunday and it was ok, nicer than we expected but having previously visited Florence on several occasions, it was no where near as nice. The Duomo in the centre however is pretty spectacular, 600 years in the making apparently... Italian builders for you! Julie enjoyed walking around all the designer shops as well, but back to our brazillian friends...

Its still fecking hot here in Italy! Last night we camped on a site at the southern end of lake Garda, tonight we are camping at the northern end, right on the banks of lake ledro, the site is called Al Sole and has a heated outdoor spa pool so we can relax under the stars... So much for roughing it!

The prices of everything here are what we expected based on previous Italian expeditions, last night we had a bottle of White wine, a beer and a coke, plus olives and crisps for €10 (about 8 quid!)... We like italy!
