Unity3D Drupal Module Update

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionSend to friendSend to friend

You will be pleased to here that progress is good, I have only had a couple of days to work on this module so far but the central file directory is working, along with creating the content type and permissions and I am now working on getting the Unity embed code working.

As you probably read in the last post, I was hoping to use the UnityObject script to embed the Unity players, but this seems to be causing all kinds of issues, I'm not even sure if this code works anymore but I will be trying to contact the author of this script in order to continue. If I can't use this I will have to resort to the regular Unity embed code, this is not a favorable option as it is not very user friendly for developer or end user, anyone who worked with Flash before UFO or SWFObject appeared will know what I am referring to.

I will keep you all posted on its progress so keep your eye on Twitter (or subscribe to the RSS here), and hopefully there will be something more solid to show you next week.

And now to bed...
