Darkbreedmedia is dead - long live Nineteen83!

Well, here is yet another redesign of my blog! I thought it was time to move away from a coporate image into something a little more personal. The original idea for darkbreedmedia.co.uk was a platform for me to work as a freelancer when I left Uni should I need to, as luck would have it though I stayed on at Sift Groups and haven't really needed the site for it's main purpose.

It sort of evolved into a personal blog but still had a coporate sounding name and look to it, so clearly if I was to rename the site I would need to re-theme it as well. The idea for this theme came from some meddling in AutoDesk Maya one night (like you do) and I created this:

Druplicon HD

A little tinkering with Mental Ray and maya PaintFX for the grass and what you can see now is the result! The sky was created using some awesome free photoshop brushes from colorburned.com and the plan is for these to be animated at some point to add a bit of movement to the site.

It looks to be working ok on all the main browsers, but it will fall over for definite in IE6 but to be honest, as this is my site, I really couldn't care less!!
