Adventures in CSS3

While giving my site a facelift (which isn't quite finished yet I know) I thought I would have a little play with CSS3 to see what could be done and I have to say I am impressed and frustrated in equal measure at the moment.

Organic Poster Design

No its not a new, clever design technique or web fad, just the subject of my latest piece of graphic design. I got to flex my creative muscles over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Replacing a broken fan in an Acer Aspire A150 Netbook

My little A150 was a great buy when I picked it up a few months back, £150 from Currys Digital as it was an ex display model - which would probably explain the fact that the fan needed to be replaced! Using virtual hosts with MAMP without needing MAMP Pro

A few weeks back I published a blog post about updating a MAMP installation. It actually proved to be very popular to I thought I would follow it up with a quick run through of getting virtual hosts up and running on MAMP without the need to purchase MAMP Pro. I don't have anything against MAMP Pro, this is just a free way of doing it for users who are prepared to get their hands a little more dirty than others.

MediaShelf Web App

After years of switching from platform to platform and language to language, I am starting to make very good progress on my media cataloging application. A brief history....
